40 Lent Bible Verses for Daily Reflection for Lent

Updated: Apr 17

lent bible verses

Lent is a period of forty days (not including Sundays), beginning with Ash Wednesday and ending with Easter Sunday, observed by many Christians as a time for prayer, penitence, and fasting. It is a time for spiritual growth and self-reflection, and it is also a time to focus on giving back to the community.

It is a time to reflect on yourself and your relationship with God. Taking time out of your day to pause and think about your life can be a valuable exercise. As you reflect, ask yourself questions such as: What have I done that I am proud of? Is there an area of my life that I need to work on? How can I make a positive impact on my community? Additionally, use this time of reflection to spend more time in prayer and meditate on scripture. As you reflect on your life and God's word, be sure to thank Him for all that He has done for you.

For reflection and meditation during the Lent Season, here are some inspirational Lent Bible Verses for you.
